Hey now that my cut into my truck money... lmao hard to find them in my area... anyone who has one doesn't want to give them up... lol would love one though

I was a girl for a year that ended up getting one. Not to bad, but not as impressive as I had expected. Mostly cuz of detuning and even traction control off, it still cut the throttle down and it never did launch for ****. I forget the time now, but it was in the 13's @ 90 something mph. It lost bad time at take off or it could have done much better.

I bought an 01 GP GT with 3.8. Leather and all the Bells. We had that one the longest of the only 2 cars I bought her, otherwise she always had a new truck or SUV. We decided on a car for a change to have at least 1 vehicle better on fuel for our trips to Laughlin, NV and TX to see her family. It was a good car. Never had any problems other than a coolant level sensor and it was fixed under warranty, and they also did the upper intake manifold gaskets just cuz, and a manifold bolt, actually nut recall while they had it. I sure wasn't going to aruge. Took it in for sensor at 29,000 miles and got new intake gaskets. The recall on the nuts was wider shouldered nuts. Big whoop.

I'm really excited about it... fun and grease...lol anyways after I swap a few thing from the burb to the blazer the burb will be available as a parts truck as a roller... only parts though... I don't have the title... this means it's gonna be pretty cheap... lol I have some pics of the burb on my profile if anyone is interested... hit me up and we can talk

Let me guess. Since you're so far away, it'll be a 4x4 Burb. In OK, I can have it titled in my name and a current tag good for 12 months in 6 weeks and $103. (Provided it's not stolen). That what takes the 6 weeks is the Tax Commission looking for any clouded titles, stolen or recent liens. All that checks out, then I'd have it.

There is a lien against it but I don't know how much longer it will show on the title... it was from about 7 years ago... that is one of the only reasons I'm trying to get rid of it as a parts truck... the tags out here are about $600.00 behind and it's just to big for just me to ride around in...lol but there is no rust on it anywhere... it would make one hell of a tow rig to haul the family and toys around... lol

DAMN !!! Is it 4x4 too??? I think here 7 year old with no repo attempt or any of that it comes off anyway. If there is a lien then they call the lienholder and offer the vehicle to them. If it's to old and they find out, no motor or trans, it cost them more to dispose of it and pay a wrecker service to pick it up etc, so they'd just release the lien and done. No doubt, I could get it titled and current tag for $103-$110. But, CA is a ways away too. I just hate to hear it go to parts. My cousins are in So Cal and they are ones that should not be allowed to have tools or I'd have them pick it up from you.

No NO NO. Do not jack with the VIN in CA. Even in OK, you can get by with a cab swap on a different frame. But not in CA. CA checks VIN plate to see if it matches the frame. Yes, VIN #'s are stamped into the frames and CHP and inspection stations have manuals that tell them where these hidden #'s are. Especially on 81 up year model vehicles.

I do have another buddy in So Cal, he might be interested. In fact yesterday when he called me on this way back from Fresno and the Eagle Field Dragstrip, he was in Bakersfield stopping to get something to eat and piss break before he started climbing Grapevine. Post up some pics of it and the interior. Do you know the gear ratio on the axles?

I believe it has 373's... I know for a fact I'm stealing the captains for the blazer if they'll swap in but the blazer does have buckets to replace them with... I'll get some pics of the interior posted soon... I really wish I could keep them both but I need a driver and don't have the room for a project and a driver :doublepuke:

Red with a blue interior is definitely an interesting colour combo.

I did some reading on this you snd if are concerned about smog in CA. Pre-97 diesels are smog except. A 12 valve would be sweet. Not that I'm biased.

Would love to throw a beefy twin turbo diesel into a sb... lol but Cali has issues with putting a diesel motor into a gas truck... something about failing the emissions testing... lmao
