So all was well, bought a 76 former Canadian Military 5/4 a week ago yesterday. Everything worked completely normal driving it daily for the week to iron out the bugs and drove it home in my first rain storm yesterday afternoon.

This AM noticed the headlights were on but no running lights! Checked fuse, was blown. Replaced the fuse, turned on the lights and everything was great! Signals worked, pumped the brake lights 1000 times to make sure there wasn't a short, kicked, shook wires some connections and light pots. All was perfectly normal. The second I shift out of park to drive (column shift) the fuse pops.

Any ideas?
Thank you

What are "running lights" - you mean parking lights?

Yep. Different lingo, same thing. Park lamps, marker lights, running lights. Where I'm from that's what they're called.
