I found this square on google, and i fell in love, does anybody know how much it's lowered, what kind of rims those are, or just anything about the truck?

It's an 81-87, looks to be lowered about 6/8, possibly bagged, and those might be Budnick wheels.

Yeah, it's a lot more than a 2/4 drop. I'd be willing to suggest bagged too.

out of pure luck i found an article on this truck on the reader's rides in truckin magizine, say's it's lowered 13 inches more than stock, but no exact front rear lower numbers. I'm guessing i would have to do a c notch on mine, and a 4 link, but i don't want to run bags. is there anyway i could use front and rear adjustable coil overs to get the height just like this?

As far as I know if you want to run coilovers in the front you will need Mustang II front suspension and the rear you will need some type of 4 link set up. Also you will need to bridge the frame in the rear and remove the front inner fenders.

I guess lowering is like lifting. The higher the better, but the lower the better. I personally think Squares look good with a 2/4 lowering kit, and with that, you shouldn't have any real problems and it's cheap and easy compared to bagging and C notching.

Moving thread from General Discussion to Street Suspension.

If you want to lower your truck a lot on leafs you need a flip kit(5in), drop shackles and hangers(4in), remove the short and overload leafs(2in). 5+4+2=11in. To do this you will need to bridge the frame above the rear end and cut the bed floor.

I'm goin with a porterbuilt 4 link set up, but was just wondering if it was just me that thought that this truck has rear leafs.

I blew up the pic and it looks to still have the leaf springs on it. The shackles are standing straight up with what looks like the leaf attached.

Me too, porterbuilt is supposed to be the **** to get. I'm realy liking their trailing arm kit, is like to install that for the improved ride.
