Hello,

I have searched and searched, but I cannot find any info concerning running a 15x12 with a 4" lift. I am installing a RC 4" lift and 15x12 wheels and was trying to see if there are any issues with 33 or perhaps 35 tires. Any input or pictures would be appreciated!

Thanks.

15x12 will be too wide for a 4" lift. On a 4" lift you could do a 10" wide but over that you'll need more than 6"

You can get away with 33's on 12 wides with a 4" lift on a street truck , with some light off road , 35's , not going to happen with out some cutting.

I'm running 12" wheels with 33x12.5 tires. 15s will give you problems. It's not just the wheel size that matters. Back spacing is key.

A wheel that wide is overkill for a 12.5 tire though. Spring selection makes a difference too, you will get rubbing off road with a softer spring.

Overkill

Overkill is 31's on 15x14 Bart's. That is what I had on my 79 back in the eighties! :)

Those look wider though, I like it. Are those the old Goodyear Wrangler RT's? My buddy used to have a set that were 31's, I don't remember how wide they were, but they were much wider than any 31" these days.

I cannot remember the brand of tires. I just wish I had not went with the shaded headlight fad...

Don't be silly, smoked headlight covers still look good on a lot of cars and trucks. They just make night driving no fun.

I have a set somewhere. No they will not be going back on the truck. Those new GM bezels are too expensive to drill a couple of holes in.
