I should get a special award for managing to bend a pulley for ps.

Anyway, I had another one off a big block lying around, so I pressed it on... With heat of course

Y’all should see this guy’s work. He’s good and fast lol. Man, you should pull the 502 and 5 tons from the k5 and put them in the s10. Run 54” bloggers.

WE HAVE POWER STEERING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately it looks like I'm gonna have to notch out more of the s10's original IFS cradle for the longer pitman arm to clear... But at least I have power steering again!

I appreciate that!!!!

Im confident the th400 will take it, but the poor s10's transfer case wont... Would have to step up to a drop box to take that much punishment

Pretty B rate steering arm, I'd say.

It's half done, still need to remove it from its shell and mill down the back of it and bore out a pocket, mill the arm at a 5-10 degree angle and drill holes.

Your standards are a bit higher than mine if that is B rate. Some of us consider a precision machining a steady hand on a 4 1\2" angle grinder. Keep. up the progress. Nice work.

Oh you better believe it's precision. Just not the company standard of precision.
The precision I make a living off of is +/-. 0003

The steering arm is +/-. 005 because I'm using calipers

But I do appreciate it!

Got rid of the excess stock on the back of the arm, then drilled the kingpin bushing and spring hole out.

Now finish milling that out.

Next up is the angled holes

After some assessment, I don't need a angle on the arm. Just flat drilled will be fine... I don't have a 20" lift... It'll be OK.
