Was driving down a washboard road and started hearing a noice near the front axle. Pulled over and noticed the bolt and nut fell off that holds the steering stabilizer in place towards the middle of the axle “not drivers side”

was wondering if anyone know what size bolt goes in there offhand before I start to dig through my bucket of bolts.

also is there anything that may have fallen off the small square bracket that I don’t know about or is it just the bolt, nut and stabilizer that go here?

I have an 80 GMC, and the Rancho steering stabilizer bolts right in to the factory spot and it comes with the bolts. It made a huge difference in handling.

If you’re not in a huge hurry, I’ve got the hardware for one side of the stabilizer at my other place (factory setup). It’d probably be 5-6 days before I could get to it, but I could mail it to you if you want.

I have a Skyjacker one in my truck (#9055). The bolt on the right is the one that bolts to the axle. The one on the left with the taper goes to the tie rod.
