18" lowered tires.... If you are running them what size and brand?

I currently have a set of 265/40/zr18s on front and 295/35/zr18s on rear.... The problem I have with this is my rears are smaller than the front by a small fraction but I'd rather get them level or rears slightly higher.

So with that said, I am trying to find some 305s or 315s in a 35 ratio on a 18" wheel. I can find a few street drag radials but Id much rather find something with a little tread life. If you run them let me know what brand please. Photo pasted below. Thanks for your time.

Well it looks like I settled for some 295/40/r18 Nitto NT555 G2 tires. They are a little taller than what I have right now so it should be better. If it has too much rake, I'll buy some taller tires for the front and airbag it.

You'll probably be ok as far as looks. I had some 265/35/18s and 295/40/18s on my '03 Mach 1 a few years back. It had a pretty good look to it, rake wise IMO. Yours will be just a tad less raked having the 40s up front as well

Ill see if I can remember to get a photo. I had them installed yesterday and I'd say it sits nicely. It does have 2.5" drop spindles on front and a 2" shackle in the rear with a leaf spring delete. Its pretty slammed. I also have a set of belltech 2.5" front drop shocks and 5" drop rear shocks to install. Once I get that done I'll post a few photos also. But for now it has a pretty nice stance.

I took a photo today at the body shop. I have yet to put my shocks on it but I took it to have it quoted for paint. I am scared to see that estimate. >.< Well I cant for the life of me upload it. I have resized it 3 times and it keeps telling me its too large. Anyone know the size requirement to upload a photo?

You know shocks don't affect ride height? Unless they are bottomed,or air shocks. Shocks keep the truck from being bouncy.

Yessir.. However, they were bottomed out on the rear. I changed them last night but I did it to take out the stiffness. It is much nicer ride now.

Me and my son stopped to window shop the new Ram HD trucks. Since 2025 is some major mechanical refreshes/updates. Was hoping to drive one. They look the same as older ones mostly.
I couldn’t get past this dork who not only thought 2026s had to be way better. (They’re literally the same as 25s) Also couldn’t comprehend why I said I’m getting a 3500 but was looking at a 2500…..again same truck except rear suspension.
The topping is that he kept touting the “NEW Torqueflight” transmission….roflmao. He literally could not comprehend that the name on the sticker was marketing and torqueflights actually left the chat 30 years ago or whenever. Maybe 20 because the 4 series were still basic tf design. I tried to explain the new trans are an all new 8 speed ZF unit. (New to Ram, in EU production for a few years now) Never released before 2025.
It was then I realized I couldn’t patronize this tard long enough to get a test drive….
