    go online, there are all sorts of calculators out there for wheels/backspacing and offsets, and tires, the tire one will give you height, etc. just fill in the blanks, and it gives you all the info you need, I've been told you can run up to a 315 on the rear with no rubbing.

    Keith I wouldn't touch the shafts, front or rear. I would shorten the mount that the carrier bearing attaches to. this is what many of the after market guys suggest. I would rather take your advice.

    You would be surprised how many times at the factory that the 2x4 method was used. I knew a guy who worked at a GM plant, and doors were adjusted that way far more than we know.

    on my flip kit, it is designed to move the rear,.end back an inch or so. This should let me use the stock drive shaft without it having any problems. I will need to move the carrier bearing up about an inch. This is what DJM calls for. Anyone who wants to discuss this, please do so...

    Rear cab support??

    I'm going to be changing the rear cab mounts soon. I hope the nut doesn't spin loose like the front ones did. Good thing I was replacing the floor pans, and could open up the floor for the front mounts but certainly don't want to open anything up for the rear mounts.
