    I can try and "burp" the system as well. Take the radiator cap off, jack the truck up, and start the engine to get the bubbles out. That might help. Hopefully the weep hole isn't too hard to get at so I can check that as well. Thanks guys.

    I forgot to mention.... There's also been this strange popping noise that happens on occasion. It's not the engine back firing. It comes from the back driver side of the engine. Seems to stop when the engine runs for a bit.

    the truck is leaking oil and is underpowered. those are the two big things. there are other problems like only one gas tank working. but the leak and underpowered engine are my main concern. according to the mechanic it's only firing on 4 cylinders after a compression test.
