    New guys with some questions

Qjets work really well off road if they are in good condition and rebuilt. But the holley avenger was built for off road use and can not argue with that.

    cold weather starting

Does it do it when it is warmed up or just when it is cold. Because I had the same problem with my Q jet on my jeep. We put a new crab on it. One that had a choke. The other one did not. Now we don't ever have a problem with it starting

so I just pulled out all of the rocker arms, push rods and lifters. I of the bores where I pulled the lifter out looked scratched up but none of the others were. is this bad or should I just put the new lifters in and not think about it.

    my full floater rebuild

defiantly go disc brakes it is simple and if you look around for parts it will be cheeper in the long run than rebuilding drums over and over again. Ruff stuff has some great brackets for the conversion.

Lift and tire size on a daily driver...

Yes sorry i didn't see your post on the first page

Lift and tire size on a daily driver...

Just because you have a bigger lift and a bigger tires doent mean you will do good off road. With 37s you will be really straining tires. Heck with 35s you will strain someparts depending on what axle you are running. So what axles are you running.

Lift and tire size on a daily driver...

A 4 inch lift and 35s are a great way to go on a daily driver. Although 37 inch tires are a good size. But for a daily driver a 4 inch lift and 35s will do fine you might need a 1 inch body lift though.
