This is beatufilully done.
Unfortuneltly the guy is asking 6 grand. And there is no motor or tranny. And the inside is in ok condition.
It is just out of my price range vary disapointed.
He dose want to to trade for a ratrod project though.

Damn, Slick truck. Someone has got to fix that one up the way it deserves

Just so you know, we have a thread called "******** on Craigslist" that we all post our CL finds, its just a long running thread. Find whats interesting, post it there and everyone comments until the next interesting find/s show up.

$6k?? Really? Cool truck and would be a cool project but definitely not worth that without a motor or tranny in it. That's a shame. I hope someone who knows what they're doing eventually gets that truck and brings it back :)

I know I would have picked it up right away if he was asking 1000.
It sounded like he did not want to sell it. But got forced into it by his wife or brother. We have a guy around here who sells millitary duce and halfs and stuff like that and he is askin for double of what it is worth. Im thinking it is the same thing.

I not sure why you all say it is not worth the 6,000. Even though it doesn't have a motor or a transmission sure as hell doesn't devalue it 5,000 dollars.

The trend of todays trucks are definitely crew cabs, To be totally honest I have NEVER even seen a CC in that era truck. Also given the fact it is a RUST FREE ARIZONA truck, you could very easily buy a used motor and transmission, tear them apart clean them up paint them and re-seal them both for 500.00. Stick them in the truck and sell it for an EASY 10,000.00 3,500 profit for a weekends worth of work? HHHMMMM If only I could cut loose of 6500 bucks.

Point is just because it may not be worth it to YOU doesn't mean it isn't worth it to someone else... That truck has a **** load of cool factor,

Value has diffrent perspective to everyone. I love the truck. But the way i see it that is 6000 dollers that i can put into a another project. It is a sweet truck though.

realistically....I'd be willing to pay 3k for it as is. I agree you could probably get 10k out if it once running but it's not running. If it wasn't running but had a good motor and tranny already in it that just needed work it'd raise the "value" for me quite a bit on the project.
