    new build 65 chevy c10 to k10

Thanks for the info on the mounts. I was just trying to brain storm ideas for a shroud for the radiator. I got thinking about my c10 project and just remembered I will be running electric fans due to no provisions for fan mounting to the fuel injected motor is putting in it.

    best sand blaster

I have had decent luck with siphon feed ones from Harbor freight, but the one that I like the most is gravety fed with a hopper on it, if you are looking on the budget side. The medium(sand/material) you use will be best purchased from a tool supply house or auto body shop, not the home...

    new build 65 chevy c10 to k10

Looking good. So the frame mounts on the 71 work with the 60's bodies? I have two 66 c-10's, and am making a street rod out of one, and think this would be awesome to do with my spare parts... I vote for keeping it half-ton to run the Vector wheels. How far away will the fan be from the...

    Slick's Junkyard Thread...

That would be the one. Love to find another for the camaro. I found one by a stroke of luck in a yard, and the owner told me that its been sitting in the yard for years before I came along. I see many autos and many sm465s, but only one with the hurst on it.

    Slick's Junkyard Thread...

This is a wild longshot, but would be interested in A833 4 speed manual transmission with OD, 2x4 or 4x4. this trans easiest to identify by flat blade hurst shifter, and shifter location is further back in the floor. Thats if you stumbled upon one. Prices depends....

No turn signals... Both went at the same time

I have had the same problem on two different trucks. One truck was shorting out through the reverse light switch wire which was damaged from a tranny swap. The second truck was blowing fuses due to aged/coroded trailer wiring from the tail lights to the plug on the bumper. When the TS fuse...

    New Process A833 4speed w/ OD MY6 MM7

Yeah for sure. Dont get me started on that subject... Thats also why I am replacing a 6.2L block...someone that should not be allowed bricks either! Are the shifters user serviceable or should I up the dough and send it to hurst? I have not looked at it too much, but it looked fairly...

    New Process A833 4speed w/ OD MY6 MM7

Yeah someone either ran too short of bolts, over-tightened them, or ran it loose after a clutch job. Should not be that bad of a fix though, 1 of the 3 are good, the others are needing some love!

    New Process A833 4speed w/ OD MY6 MM7

I just picked up my first A833 Last week from an 82 1/2 ton 2wd(from the junk yard of all places). It is all aluminum and has the GM standard bolt aluminum bell housing. Any idea when the dual pattern bell was phased out? Anyone ever have problems with the threads stripping or tearing out of...
