Slick's Junkyard Thread...

Hey Guys!

I've been making it to the yard more often lately and thought I'd get a thread going if anyone needs me to look out for parts while I'm out there and how much they're willing to spend on said parts. Not sure how often I'll be out there, but last time I was there I saw quite a few decent donor trucks out there.

Looking for a hydraulic clutch/brake pedal assembly from a 81 to 87 square. Willing to spend 100 to 150 with shipping to SC 29445. Went to about nine different salvage yards last Friday and not a single square in sight.

There were two squares with sticks last weekend, just don't know if they were hydraulic clutch set-ups or not... Hopefully they're still there when I go back next. Might be a couple of weeks from now though.

you should come to my home town. the yards here have tons of squares. im pretty sure just one yard has at least 30-50

This is a wild longshot, but would be interested in A833 4 speed manual transmission with OD, 2x4 or 4x4. this trans easiest to identify by flat blade hurst shifter, and shifter location is further back in the floor.
Thats if you stumbled upon one. Prices depends....

That's going to be a really rare find in a junk yard and I'd be tempted as all hell to snag it for myself, but I'll let you know if I ever do come across one.
