Without measuring inspect the distance between brake backing plate and rear spring pack. If there is only an 1' or so cab and chassis, 6" will be a pickup. Reason, inner dual tire clearance for pickup bed wheelhouse.

A cab and chassis will use a 14 bolt axle, a dually pickup uses a Dana 70HD rear axle.

The shape of the covers will give it away, along with the Dana will only have 10 cover bolts.

No, a C&C is a truck with no bed from the factory. Fleet type sales trucks that might get wrecker or tool body beds, etc this is why the rear axle is narrower than a pick up dually. These can come in various wheelbases longer than a typical long bed pick up and the frame is shaped differently.

Overall width can vary based on tire size. A cab & chassis axle is 63” from wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface, a pick up dually is 74”.

Pickup wheelbase is 131.5" while the typical cab and chassis wheelbase is 135.5" long.

Nice truck!
The pic below may help you decipher your VIN.
Bucket is on point with the wheelbase measurement, it will definitely determine reg truck or chassis-cab no matter what may have been changed over the years.
Unfortunately, over the years many of these awesome trucks have been Franken-trucked so identification can be a challenge. Fast 99 mentioned the distance between the rear end backing plates and the springs. That will tell you what the rear axle came from. Example would be that someone wanted a narrower rear axle to run a near body wide flatbed (no idea why but to each his/her own).
If you send pics from more angles, pic of the rear axle so we can see the backing plate to spring distance etc, we may be able to provide more info.
A pic of the SPID (service parts identification label) usually located on the inside of the glovebox door (with last 6 of VIN blocked out) we can provide more info on the options your truck came with from the factory.
