Don't know if I ever posted these, found some dark blue OBS floor mats at the junkyard a couple weeks ago. They didn't fit great and all the nipples on the back of the driver side were gone so it slid around real bad.

So I bit the bullet and bought the Holley mats. These things are NICE

Awesome stuff for road side repairs around 10$
We had that in the Air Force called it F-4 tape! There was a roll of it in every tool box. Works awesome for radiator hoses just have to get it tight!

If it drove fine before, you're probably right. But just an FYI, that's exactly what my truck was doing before the balljoint failed. It got bad enough I had to physically steer the truck back the other way rather than it doing it on it's own. The ball sawed the cup hard enough it finally pulled in two leaving be dead on the floor. This was just 2 days after our Dino's trip across the country, thankfully it didn't happen running 90 across I40. I knew something was wrong but everything appeared fine on my pre-trip inspection. I unhooked all the steering and it all moved freely, including the spindles. But over that 4800mi, it got much worse.

Holy cow! That’s nuts. Hopefully nothing bad happened.

My ball joints are new on the CPP control arms, but it’s something to look at- they could always be defective.

Nah, thankfully I was just backing out of my parking spot when it let go. Didn't hurt anything at all, the ball just pulled out of it's socket. Pressed a new set in the next day and rolled on. I forgot you have new arms, you should be fine. But just something to keep in mind if it either doesn't loosen back up or in the future if it ever randomly gets tight again

I'd absolutely get a set of these in tan to match my rig, but their tans ones are green by all accounts I've read online.

Haven't seen the tan in person yet. The blue is a touch dark but not bad, the red is spot on

Junk into different junk part 2 rails and outriggers each rail will have 3 points attached to the frame plus 2 braces(one up to the headache rack other to cross beam on the flatbed) plus the fender bars will attach to the bumper and tie everything in, it will basically be a partial exo cage at this point lol before someone says ain't strong enough here's deflection calculator of this box tube vs standard roll cage tube(.120wall dom would bend like a pretzel in comparison) I no doubt it will be stronger than a Toyota or dodge frame lmao

Front outriggers will fit nicely under the front body mounts following the frame back just before the frame turns up another outrigger rear one will go under the fuel tank and will have a 90 up to the frame rail(plus the 2 supports from the flatbed/front fender bars) 6points of contact overall)(also I'm not building a rock crawler this is mainly for fuel tank protection with extra steps lol)

Loaded him up and put him to work hauling tires and wheels from Hummer to get tires mounted to new wheels.

Heavy SOBs. Funny how they make the truck look small.

Took it on a short trip to donate dog food to the local adoption center. It rained a little so I got to use the windshield wipers. At least I know that if I get caught in the rain I can still see. Lol
