I have an email in to Procomp but I figured I'd also as you guys.
What does Procomp expect to be done on the center caps on the front with manual hubs?

These will go on an '83 K20.

I think I can take off the top of the cap but I don't think that will look very good.
Don't they make a specific type of center cap for the front?

I'd be surprised if they don't make a specific version for the front axle.

The very top portion of the cap is removable on mine, about an inch below the simulated screws. Yours aren't removable?

They do look removeable but I don't think it's going to look very good.
Someone on facebook said Comp should make specific caps for my axle.

I'll have to ask them.

Thanks everyone.

I am not sure of the inside diameter of your wheel but 4.25" is somewhat standard, please verify before searching. I ordered a pair from Jeg's for my k10 aftermarket wheels but can't find them on their site now but here are two other retailers. They often come either chrome or stainless, I opt for the stainless because the chrome ones often pit real bad quickly in the elements.

My wheels were slightly larger than 4.25" due to corrosion, I fabricated a rubber band to take up the excessive clearance so they don't rattle

To add to the previous post, the center bore of the Pro Comp wheel is 5.15." That is the same as my American Racing Baja's. Any Metal cap that size should work.

Look on the inside of the cap. If I remember right, there probably is a locking spring snap ring thingy in there that can be popped out and the end of the cap will come off.

Guess I don't understand what you're getting at. Here's with cap on and with cap off. Do you not want to have to remove the cap to get to the hub?

You don't have to take the spring off. Give it a good yank and it comes off. Give it a smack with the palm of your hand to put it back on
