Looks a lot like my '88 parts rig. The frame is good on mine, but has the usual severe rear body rot.

Hopefully it ain't too noisy. The whirring from those types of coolers would drive me nuts, so I've never installed one. Noisy fuel pumps bother me too, but that's another subject.

easier said than done in PA. plus i already have a project

if U got it for what I'm guessing u got it for, we got full frames here cheap ($500). Sucks I passed on a crewcab and a 4x4 burb with a crap body for $500.....just didn't have the funds. Could have converted the crew to 4x4. Don't get me wrong I love my SWB, but man I really need the room lol.

Yeah, I hooked them up briefly to see what they sound like. It’s loud as hell. Gonna leave it unhooked for now, I didn’t get my t-stat that was supposed to be in the kit and I definitely want that. That way they won’t run till the trans is at 170*

Slowly but surely!

Anyway, anybody know why my truck would be "pulsating" at idle. . . it's in rough condition at the moment for just starting it, trying to sort it out.

Steering box had been leaking and got pretty bad. Had a box that I bought years ago for my old truck that I never used. Put it on and all good now.

Got the tailgate latch working on my CUCV. Inner handle was bent up inside, swapped out one I saved from the parts
Burb, lubed everything, and it's good as new.

It didn't want to shift the other day, had me worried that the tranny was going out, but I crawled under it and saw the vacuum line to the modulator had come off. Slipped it back on and shifts fine.

Finally replaced the input shaft seal on my gear box, hopefully this will end my leaky power steering saga with the '80
