Nice looking S10! Great find!

I was never really into S10s back in the day. Been a squarebody fan before squarebodys were even cool! Lol

But gf at the time, wife of 25 years now, got a black S15 Jimmy ST for commuting down to college. (Wasn’t my first choice, I found her a cherry 5.0 LX fox body Stang for 1/3 the price but her dad thought differently)

That thing was super nice. Looked good too.
I hear ya! I’ve been a square fan since I came out of the womb in 77 and only got my first S-10 because it was what I could get at the time but quickly became a fan of the 82-93 S-10 as soon as I owned one at 18. They are a good lil truck! :)

Me and the boys tinkered on her some this morning. Replaced some blown fuses, oil changed on her and threw in a brand new battery. Also looked under the carpet. She doesn’t need full floors but does need replaced on where the body mounts are. I felt the need to look because of what I saw yesterday and posted pics of :) so that’ll happen at the same time I replace the carpet.

also, have no brakes lights or flashers in the rear :hmm: about to hit up the Google machine now. I know it’s not fuses so probably a ground or relay issue I’m guessing

Id say broken wire near the tail light harness

Never really noticed before how much those things look like a mini square body. I wouldn't mind finding one with a 4.3 and manual trans.

Check the bulbs? Being there's only one per side, it's likely they are just burnt out. Otherwise it's likely a bad turn signal switch or a broken wire.

My s10 unicorn would be a 4wd, 4.3 and 5spd and a long bed

I always liked the 2 wheelers better, but these days I'd like a 4x4. And of course I'm also a 4.3/5-speed guy.

But I'd lower it a bit and run wide Vette wheels and drive it in the winter, lol.

The bulbs in the dash don’t flash with the turn signal or hazard either so I’m thinking it’s more than a bulb issue. I’m looking at issues with the stalk or a wiring issue like you mention. Is there a relay that I can look at too?

Nope, no relay.

The bulbs in the dash don't flash. But do they light up?

Nope. Don’t even light up. That’s why I thinking it’s bigger than just a bulb otherwise they’d light up but not blink as if bulb was burnt out.

But the fronts light up?

That's an odd one. It's possible there's a problem in the rear AND a flasher is bad. No matter what, checking the bulbs is the first place to start and then power at the sockets if the bulbs are good.

Yes. Front lights illuminate fine. Front turns don’t blink at all, either. When I turn the lights on the rears illuminate, too. Just no brake lights or turn signals.

I will certainly check the bulbs. :)

UH, that doesn't pan out to well. Kooper says it swaps ends pretty easily, about 3 times so far!!!.....on the snow packed roads

2 wheelers take a bit to learn how to drive in snow. I couldnt get mine to stop yesterday and bopped the curb. It goes pretty good if you keep your sences about ya.

Gotcha Ted, BUT this is a 17 year with very little experience in winter driving. Plus the fact that when I was teaching him to drive, I ALWAYS told him RIGHT FOOT DOWN, LEFT FOOT UP!!!!!!
