Oil change time! Wanted to do front shocks but none of the store here have em..

read up on amazon oil contents and compare that to GTX. I forget where but somewhere on the internet is a website that you can compare oils side by side. I switched over to amazon synthetic in the LS and haven't had any issues yet. The oil is still clean compared, the GTX would have been dark by now.

[edit] found the link today.

Got the Roll Bar finally done, and Rhino Lined the rear area of my Blazer. Little hard to see, even got to keep my spare tire rack.

Tuned up my dash a little.
Pulled it apart and replaced the bad voltmeter. Painted gauge needles fluorescent orange. Disassembled and painted the back box bright white. Replaced bulbs with Sylvania ultravision bulbs and polished the clear gauge cover with Mequires plastic polish.

Power steering at idle RPM didn't work. Got a remanned pump from Napa and replaced it.
Drove around all day in 95 degree heat with the A/C on. The power steering worked flawlessly.

Got to love it when a plan comes together.

Realized that I never posted a pic with my tuned dash.
Anyone who says you need LEDs to be able to read the gauges I'm calling ********...LOL.

Nice! I need to refresh my gauges, too. That looks great!

Nice looking gauges! Just curious though, that's not idle oil pressure is it?

No, still trying to figure why that one decides to work intermittently.

Lubed the lower Speedo cable - as in, unhooked it from the cruise , unhooked it from the transfer case, pulled it out, and oiled it 6 or so inches at a time as I put it back in .

Driving her tomorrow to work for a road test.

Plus, 40% chance of rain tomorrow , and playing in heavy traffic with a manual (Cobalt) can get old.

At least it is a hydraulic clutch ...
