Finished up my weekend project of detailing my engine and tidying up the engine compartment. Removed the hood since it's time to remove the shotgun scoop and reinstall the cover plate on the hood. I still have to reinstall the hood but it's time for some well deserved cold beer and BBQ. Here's some pics....

Then ibsaw some primer and a 3m paint removing disc for the drill. So I got those too. Lol

Once I ran the battery down switching to electric drill was faster and better. That disc works great!! Also have a scotch brite wheel at far right to go over after the rough disc. It worked good as well.

Then primered it. Came out good. Now need to do other half but, I'm having a hard time fighting off the cold beer urge. Because I still need to trim tree branches off the roof and do lawn work. Once I start drinking beer all that **** goes out the window. But, the brite side is I can still work on the square while drinking beer. Lol

Oh yeah I came outta home depot $100 lighter. It's like when I go to Wal-Mart I almost always drop $100. **** me lol

Welded in the uprights for the slider opening, now I need to make the Louvers and the other fuel pocket and it’s ready to come off for finish welding and paint/bed-liner

Changed the oil on Sunday. Felt like a gain 20 horses after that.

Further testing shows tach lead wire must be far away from other wires. Gotta rewire the tach lead.

Otherwise tach reading jumps all over the place.
