I got my bolts for the transfer case in yesterday. Started polishing them. Should look nice against the gloss black. Stainless steel locking flange bolts. A bit pricey, but hell I'm worth it.

Took the wife to work in this hell-ish "Atmospheric River" weather that hit us yesterday, and intensified today. I swapped out her Trailblazer winter tires for the summer tires last week, and I had to make the little 3-banger turbo SING to get it up the driveway through about 10" of fresh, wet snow. I brushed off the 'ole Square, turned in the hubs, and busted some snow!

Got the transmission/transfer case cross member welded up, some of the holes were messed up. Got it ground down and painted. Got the polyurethane mount tins powder coated.

Driver side ball joints, shorter front springs to go back to a straight drag link, and some h2 wheels.

Vortec 7.4 is almost ready to go, need to block off the oil cooler, pull 2 busted studs, reassemble with carb and HEI. Oh, and add an oil fill to the VC.

Don't forget, tighten everything with an impact.
Not even going to loosen it chief.

But I will have a running big block while you're running about the forum responding to every thread as your only meaningful adult interaction in a day with no actual big blocks

Pulled the windshield out of the GMC, and had an "ah ****" moment. So much for a quickie paint and drive.

Oh no! I don't have your approval?

Since my dad didn't leave for milk and never came back, I can live without that.

Now keep that post count up, keyboard warriors everywhere are looking up to you!

^^^^^^your avatar quote pretty much tells me all I need to know^^^^^^^
The irony of the utter lack of self reflection from the two most self important posters on the forum is delightful.

I'll somehow manage to pick up the broken pieces of my shattered heart and carry on with my life, and my actual projects that actually happen, run, and drive.

I hope you continue to draw some cold comfort from making sure you reply to every single post on an obscure internet forum because the world simply cannot continue to turn without your input on every thing :angels2:
