After the help from my local shop getting inside the distributor cap and seemingly-so far getting the poor running figured out, I have:
-Driven it home from the shop, it drove normal and I was hesitant to really drive it for this short trip.
Then it rained for 2 days, HaHa! You can't make this stuff up, lol.
- Drove it to work then taxied both kids to and from swim practices Tuesday.
-Wednesday I drove the daily to and from work but put the truck in action that afternoon/evening getting groceries and kids to and from their activities again.
Then it rained again, ugh, lol.
-Today the rain stopped after lunch and I uncovered and washed it up really well. I was planning on driving it somewhere but fate had me pegged at home as the day faded.
It is finally driving "as it should" as the invoice states from my shop (fantastic in my mind!). Tomorrow I am planning to drive it to my son's basketball game and anywhere else then cover it up again as more rain/snow is in the forecast for Sturday night-Sunday.
I am loving driving here and there and knowing the rough running is done. Makes me feal better.

Brakes are 1st, then the rest in no particular order. My nephew is willing to help me save a buck and work with me on a new radiator and ac compressor install(when I decide I can actually afford the new parts). I will be asking the shop for help on the brakes when it is inspected next month. I am too intimidated to flush fluid(currently looks like coffee)and mess with rear drum brakes.
