C10 stock front suspension travel (1985 sbc)

Have you measured it without the spring and swaybar? It would help estimating where a bigger tire might touch when at the bottom of the travel. (The rear is interesting too but with the solid axle and leafs it is almost impossible to measure all the possibilities of the rear wheel position and angle.) I'm running 32x11.5R15 tires on the stock 8" wheels with front liftted 1,5" and there seems to be plenty of space. Planning on 33's with 9 to 9.5" wheels...

It's gonna hit the bottoms of the fenders front and rear and also the bottoms of the inner fenders. More offset just makes it worse. Seen plenty of these things cut to clearance for tires, it's not a good look IMO

I taped 1,5 inches wide piece of cardboard vertically inside the fender and hit some speed bumps. Did not touch with my 32" tires so it seems there will be enough space for 33"s too. Propably my 1,5" front lift helps as it stiffens the suspension too.

31’s should clear fine if the truck has stock springs up front.

I run 31x10.5x15 K02’s on my 76, stock wore out front springs, 15x8 steel wheels with 4” back spacing. No issues.

If you need to end up raising it,coil spring spacers are cheap and easy depending on who you believe 3/8th will get you an inch,others say 1/2"will get you an inch

I installed the lowest sub 1" lift but it ended up lifting a lot more. +1.5 inches. You'll end up removing lower ball joints so get them new too.
