Stock type front sway bar or end link type?

First I want to say thank you to all that has replied to all my previous questions on here as I make my slow but steady progress on getting my truck back together. I have a 78 C10 that did not come with front sway bar but does have all the holes. I bought the Belltech 9908 kit that has the front and rear bars about 5 years ago and never noticed until now that the front doesn't mount like a factory sway bar would. I've had a few of these trucks in the past and I remember how they mounted, but this one and all the aftermarket ones that I've been looking at today mount using an "end link" system. I have to drill out one of the existing mounting holes on the lower control arm, I really don't like the idea of doing that. So, the question is: Does the end link type work better than the stock type? I don't think there's a new stock type available. I'm only lowering no more than 2" by using a pair of UMI 2" drop springs in the front. This will just be a normal driving truck, local show, etc. The stock bars work fine but I already have these new ones. Drill the holes and slap em on?

I cannot compare end link style vs OEM style on a square, but on my 65 C20 that didn't have a sway bar, it handled great after adding it. My 81 C20 with an OEM style and fresh bushings seems to handle about the same as the 65 did. Either version will be fine

I figure it'll be fine, will just have more small parts to wear out. But it looks like it's the only option outside a factory one from a salvage yard. Plus I already have the kit for front and rear.

Run what you have either will do the job unless you are going to autocross and need more adjustability.
