Hello all - sorry if this has been asked before, but I searched and couldn't find an answer.
I recently purchased a 1978 K10 that already had a lift installed and was purchased with 35 inch mud tires that easily cleared the fenders.
I've since swapped to 33 inch tires (33x12.5xr15) and I am thinking that I want to reduce the lift 1-2 inches to even out the tire gap. The back has 4 inch blocks installed, so I can just swap the block for a shorter one for now. But, I'm not 100% sure about the front. You can tell that there are 1 inch blocks installed (which I've read is very bad, so I wanted to remove those anyway), but even if I took those blocks out it looks like it would be nowhere close to stock height, but I could be wrong.
Does it look like the truck is getting height from some other modification, or would removing that 1 inch block really take it to stock height?
Eventually I'll do the lift correctly with replacement leafs, etc. but trying to get this figured out for the time being.
