Best idea for support for painting truck bed?

Question but what's the best way to support the bed while I paint it? I will be pulling it off the frame to paint it soon and wondering what's the best and easiest way to support it while I paint the entire bed including the underside? Ideas with pic would be appreciated!!

I made this: the vertical posts line up with the bed bolt holes. Just shoot a lag bolt into the post to secure the box.

Saw horses worked fine for me. I think the bed was on em for a year. Sank in the grass a little.

2 cheap saw horses They'll hold

That's likely the simplest idea for sure! Just one at the front and back will work okay? Didn't know if the weight would be an issue or not?

Built a rolling stand too.
The ability to roll it around the shop and in and out of the shop was a huge convenience.
Some scrap lumber and cheap Amazon casters.

Nope. That was almost 20 years ago.

Measure where your box bolts are and make the posts match.

Why not a cherry picker?? Just run a couple of 2X4s inside the bedrails, hoist her up and suspend her there. Would be easy to lift off the truck frame by ourselves too....

Made steel saw horses that way we could get inside and work on the inside and underneath the bed to flip it over I used a pallet and flipped it the bulkhead side, then lifted it. I have a tractor and set it back on the sawhorses were great. The reason is, I have cleaned the underside of my bed and will raptor line it after I epoxy painted. This will protect the truck for the rest of its life. Hopefully, after the underside is done, we primer the inside of the bed and raptor lined out like the bottom After that’s completed. Then we will prime the exterior body and will leave it in primer until it’s ready for trial assembly.

Here is a few pics of the 85 I did this last fall. Used Raptor liner, one kit did all the underside. Paint the frame while you are in there. One day with a wire brush, it'll make you happy!

I used sawhorses. for body work, paint and new wood bed. Installed a new gas tank and lines while I had it off. I also used POR 15 on the new tank, underside and frame.

That works for remove and install but you gotta set it on something once you get it off there.

I'm not getting underneath that.
