So I had an idea to put wipers in the rear windows in the barn doors on my burb now I know if it can be done I need short blades and a motor that doesn't have a long travel my question is can this be done

Can this be done? It would be a great " mod" for the purpose of the truck

There are agricultural wiper motors that would work, but they are usually pricey and the glass would need the mounting points cut into it.

But the windows aren't very big and you would be lucky to get more than about 60% glass coverage. Seems like a lot of work just to end up with visibility that is still poor. IMHO, heated side mirrors should give plenty of rear visibility in most conditions.
