Hey parts guys.
I need a 78 - 80 wiper motor crank arm. It seems to be a hard to find item.
I found plenty for Pontiacs and Camaros. Does somebody know if there is a interchange on the wiper crank arms?
If somebody has one from a 78-80 CK I would like to buy it.
Only problem is I'm located in Austria/Europe. I would pay for the part, shipping and some beer money for the effort with Paypal.

'78 through '87/'91 should work fine. My memory is getting a little foggy here, but I'm nearly positive that when I converted my '77 to the newer style wiper motor, I pulled the crank arm from an 80's rig. Also, when I clip swapped my '84, I remember changing the wiper linkage to match the 70's clip, but I do not remember having to change the crank arm on the wiper motor.

Is this the little arm that goes on the motor between the motor and the rod to the wiper arm?

They are different part numbers in the GM parts catalog. 1984 and prior is #22038927. 1985-1991 is #22054184.
Not sure what the physical difference is between them as far as interchangeability.

I know I have one from an 82. I still might have the one from my 77.

They are different in the depth and the orientation of the slot. When the motors changed also the arms changed. I ordered a new GM arm so that i have the ball thingi and the slotted part. I will use the crank arm of my k5 as template and fabricate one. The Nos pieces for trucks go for 40$ the new replacement arm was 13$.

I know the '77 and earlier are clearly different than the later ones. But any of the later ones should work fine. Like I said before, when I clip swapped my '84, I used a '79 wiper linkage with the stock '84 crank arm. I'm also using an '85-up style wiper motor in that truck. Unless the '85-up wiper linkage is also different? I don't think it is, but even if so, I know the crank arm through '84 will for sure work with the 70's wiper linkage.
