wheel bearing trouble

The reason the ball joints are so worn in the picture you posted is because you need a raised steering arm to correct the geometry so that the drag link which is what the 2 ball joints and adjusting sleeve together make sits parallel to the ground

Holy crap Curtis were talking about wheel play not axle play or steering play! Your just confusing the issue.

Guys! I fixed it! It wasn't the wheel bearing at all, it was rattle from the bumper vibrating against the frame. The wheel bearing definitely was a problem when this noise appeared, so it was a good thing I thought thats what the noise was so I could fix it. This is one of those times when multiple things are wrong and everything is FUBAR.

Thanks for putting up with my stupidity :cheers:
