What non 73/87 parts have you swapped into your squarebody?

I could never imagine swapping a halfway decent part for something that I knew was gonna fail. Like, "this chick's pu ssy isn't tight enough for me, I know, I'll swap it out with some 65 year old hooker's ass". 80s GMs didn't exactly have the best wiring out there, but I couldn't imagine a Chrysler ANYTHING being wired better than a GM. When it fails do you plan to get a harness from a Jaguar? lol

I have done the same thing on a couple trucks. I like having the 7 way and 4 way light connector in the same trailer plug, and the plugs themselves have a connector that plugs into the trailer light plug. If the trailer connector plug becomes damaged, there are countless Rams, Durangos and Dakota’s in the salvage yards for a replacement. Cheap and easy to fix is always good.

I have noticed many newer trucks have both types of trailer plug in the crane connector. To be honest, it would not surprise me one bit to find the plugs for all of the big 3 come from the same supplier.

I actually have a Hopkins 7 pin waiting to install. The Chrysler one came off a beater truck we inherited from my father in law, needed a quick fix one day and like a good redneck, I found a fix.. When and if it fails, the swap will be easy. Pics for you viewing pleasure..

Hah I hear you, I was just messing around. Saw a good opportunity to to poke fun at Dodge lol. Can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing, I have some cheap chinese sh!t on mine. After 30something years the original one finally fell apart and I just needed something there
