Let's see....a meat thermometer (never forget to take out a plastic thermometer out of your meat on the grill) and a wheel chock. FYI - those little LR44 batteries make for a big bang when they land on hot coals for a spell and cook off - safety glasses required if adventurous and wish to try at home.

I am trying to assemble a functioning repair shop and have been watching local auctions for stuff. The past 3 weeks scored torches, a cart, welding helmet, and all the things you need with the torches like strikers, tip cleaners along with an assortment of different tips, cutting, rosebud, single brazing tips. Considering the seller was State of AZ, I am pretty sure the tanks were not stolen so I wasn't afraid to drop $435 for them. They need refilled to see if the regulators are any good but not a horrible deal.

They had 4 heavy duty battery chargers I bought, two 12 volt, two 12/24 250 start t. They all worked but the timers are out. Not the end of the world, I figured I would pick the one I want and sell the rest at the swap meet or FB marketplace. I think all 4 were around $225. The 12/24 250 amp start ones are valuable to the guy that needs them

Finally bought these, for when I get a lift, I think it was $140

All these items mainly just sit until the day you need them, but when you need them, you need them period. Here in AZ, cars come apart pretty easy but when I lived in PA, if it was 2 years old, you had to fire the torches up to unbolt stuff, it was crazy.

Storage for parts, or storage for tools? I'm always in a bind cuz my house stuff is mixed up with auto. Lack of space don't help. But I'll take a tool box any day.

Nice score!
The cardboard box on the shrink-wrapped pallet to the left of the picture, with the red stripes on it....I recognize those boxes because the company Mom and I used to work for, used those. It's called Readerlink, they are a book wholesaler and distributor, and the red stripes are supposed to make their boxes distinctive and easy to find in a store's warehouse.....
That doesn't always work in Walmart....most of the stores we serviced had so much freight coming in every day that they just put boxes anywhere. Sometimes I might be in the warehouse for half an hour or more, just looking for our orders and a cart or dolly to carry them on. They have special made stocking carts but some stores won't let vendors use them... because they think every vendor comes in with their own cart like the chip, soda, bread, beer guys do on grocery side....

Can't have too many 9/16" wrenches, working on Chevys. And cool vintage ones are even better.

I'm picky about hose clamps. I only buy the US made ones.
