I raised the door pocket to be even with the arm rest (just personal preference) and can easily be moved back to factory position.

Oh, Man !
That looks awesome. Great job on it.
I gotta ask, did you paint the plastic trim? If so, what paint did you use?
It matches really well. I tried the Dupli-Color "med blue" and it's a little lighter.

Definitely inspirational !!
Thanks for sharing.

Picked up a pair of free doors on Craigslist. They are rusted out but the mirrors aren't too bad, and they are painted not stainless, which is what I need for the CUCV. Saved the glass, handles, and regulators. The shells will go to the scrap yard with an old bug that I scrapped out.

Blue Color Bond from the LMC Truck catalog was a perfect match.. and some light coats of high quality satin clear, I used the -Automotive Touchup- brand

Should have done this a while ago. Totally changed the look of the inside. Finally got rid of that b&m 3 spd shifter and got the lokar 4 spd bench seat shifter for my new 700r4. Shifts sooooo smooth now . and looks great too!

Finally epoxied my doors, and 3/4 of my tailgate before i ran out. . . not too shabby for my in-home spray job

Very nice looking, where did you purchase your interior parts from? I'm going to be needing that same color blue for my 86 c10.

I purchased the door panels thru USA1 Industries and the other trim and carpet/door carpets, headliner from LMC Truck. I color matched everything with the Blue Color Bond from LMC. Although now I’m hearing it’s hard to order from USA1.. long waits and poor customer service ?

I've heard the same about USA1, what I'm needing first is a dashpad, I would like to find one that is blue so I won't have to dye or paint it.

Down to metal..........
Looks pretty good except the passenger side.
Guess the heater core has leaked at some point.
May as well replace that while all the stuff is ripped out........... JIC
