Back for now. I was impressed with their operation and am confident they will do a careful and correct job, but it will be a week or two before they can take the Blazer. I wasn’t sure of their shop schedule and was prepared to drop the Blazer but heck, they’re less than an hour away.

Kurt and I went over the Blazer and he saw everything I had seen, plus a few more items. He said it was extremely clean and straight, save the known issues such as that gap between the RH door and fender and some other past paint shortcuts. We agreed on a scope of work and I’m confident they’ll knock it out of the ballpark.

They had AMD decals around the shops and were very familiar with the company.

Oh, good! Glad it was a good visit, I'm sure they'll get it sorted and do a great job. Every car of their's I've seen is very well done

What year are your wing windows? 73-80 are a two piece seal, 1981-1985 are a two piece seal, but the glass is a little shorter than the 73-80, and 86-91 is the one piece design, but the glass should be the same as 81+.

The second post in the ad is for a Passenger side assembly from a 1977, two piece seal.
it's off my 73. I'm waiting for a response from Precision rebuild program. I supplied a picture to them if they can't rebuild it I will get back with you. I didn't see the older one in your post "my bad". This is what I have.

Replaced the header collector gaskets. Had one leaking ever so slightly but couldn’t tell where. Found the witness mark on the driver side. So much better now, it’s amazing how something that’s not a huge deal can make a difference. While I was at it, I adjusted the shift linkage. Still not perfect but it’s better now. The detents line up better with the indicator now.

I took a few minutes today & swapped the PCM from my parts 91 Sub over to my 87 V10 that I have recently upgraded with 4.56 gears, lockers on both ends & 6" lift with 35x12.50's.
It has been running terribly rich with erratic & surging idle. It never had a DTC or MIL & I figured the Atari cartridge was bad.I swapped PCM's & it coughed & then cleared. I gave it a test run & it will now blister these Patagonia tires on thru 2nd gear.
This truck has a new ECT & wiring & had a TBI in the floor when I got it. It has ran horribly this whole time but it has been sitting in the shop & field for most of the 2 years I've had it. I'm just getting time to work on it again.
I wish I could upload a video of the hard pulls this truck can now achieve.

Installed an amplified 12 volt hide-away antenna to help my reception. Made a huge improvement! Also replaced the spark plugs with a new set of AC Delco R45TS plugs. Runs much smoother now, as #1 was getting fouled. The others looked OK.

Do you need the whole wing window ? Like the one sitting on the table? I think i may have one at the house. I'll look when I get home from work today.
Hey Doug @82sbshortbed ,
Did you ever look to see if you have a passenger side vent assembley that you would be willing to sell?

Took the old girl out for a beer to a Quaker Steak Car Show.
Good turnout, about 150 rides.
Here's three samples, the Datsun was sweet.

I forgot but I'll look today. I'm pretty sure I have one because I remember buying two before I got two whole doors to put on instead. That's why I don't need them now.
