We have a 3D printer at work so I had the guy who knows how to operate it download this cad file and make me some emblems. Took a few tries to get them about the right size but for 80 cents I don't think I can go wrong here. Just need to get a chrome paint pen and add a little color to them, clear and 3M tape. Better than the 55-90 bucks I have seen them for online. We shall see.

Got the carbon tint installed and bed liner sprayed on. The old girl is starting to look sexy. Bumpers are next:

@brooksman9 Patrick, please post pics of your finished product. I would like to see how they turn out.

Carbon window tint? If yes, looks good, where did you get it?

My professional detail product order came in yesterday. Heavy compound, wax ,degreaser, tire shine, soap and rim cleaner. I used all this stuff when I owned a detail shop. It really makes a difference when using a good product like this. If anyone wants to try some let me know and i can send you a application bottle of some for y'all to tryout and see what I mean. The compound and wax really work well. Easy on and off. Way better than what you can get off the shelf somewhere.

Went on a few side quests since its been hot. I decided to make my own 383 emblems based off the 75/76 emblems for my custom fabbed grill.

To make the GMC match, I decided to make one of those too, as you can see, I ran out of paint. I will finish painting the GMC and then restore some other emblems that need done as well. I got some parts down off the shelf to start doing brake lines, fuel lines, and get the chassis a bit farther.

Started messing with the fuel lines but got pulled into another direction. I hope to continue on the cab rust repair but its been so dang hot, I have been opting for the pool.

I wish I had access to a pool right now lol
It was 92 the other day in the pool, a storm came through and it was warmer than the air. Still feels decent when you're in it though. Even with the fans, the garage is just a sweat box, not the best working environment. Eventually I will ante up and get the split unit so I can cool it down but I have been spending money on the truck instead.

It's a heat index of 105* here today so we have the roof fans going to try to keep the shop livable. I've already sweated through my clothes twice though and I'm on light duty cuz of my back!
