Bought my 84 silverado mid 2021 all original, 305 engine, long bed, automatic transmission, paint, no rust for $4300 in fl.
I haven't done anything to it yet, not even have that registered yet because i really wanted a short bed from the year model 73 to 79 with a 350/383 engine or my favorite 454.
If I don't sell or trade for one of this ones till middle of next year , I will rebuild the engine and trans, lower it and change the existent original rally wheels for others wider ones

Bought mine for 10000$ in 2016. Had a little over 19000 original miles. Sat for a very long time in a barn with a concrete floor. I paid too much and nobody has let me sell it for even

a small profit, so I have used it as a daily driver. I would do it again though. After the initial bugs being worked out, its been a dependable truck. I have around 65000 on it now.

Not a big fan of advertising what I pay for stuff or asking others what they paid, but I didn’t get it dirt cheap, although after repainting, replacing all the seals, trim and interior, I wouldn’t be out of pocket if I sold it tomorrow. (Not counting my time to restore it of course)

Sell those rallye wheels by themselves and you can probably get plenty of money for another set of wheels. In Texas you could put $8000 on that truck as it sits, and it would be gone in less than a week.

Hmm, what did I pay or what will it ultimately cost???? $600 plus another $30k, 2-3 years, lots of yelling at my son to pay attention and hold the flashlight straight, lots of yelling from my wife to stop yelling at the kids about a damn flashlight, spilled oil on the driveway with subsequent HOA fines, etc.

my 1981 C10 cost me 200$ and (counting the purchase price and the tow to get it home) i have 2300$ in the vehicle. Right now the truck is running and I did drive it 10 miles round trip to show it to my step brother on the 26th. Other than the speedometer cable falling off of the back of the gauge and a leaking thermostat gasket all was fine.
