cherry bomb, sound the same as flowmaster, less then half the price usually. Love their extremes. used their glasspacks alot, so my 3 would be flowmaster if I had the cash, cherry bombs, and thrush, no real particular order.

I've had Dynomax in the past, they sounded great. Seems like every-friggin-one has Fro-masters.

I've flowmaster 40's on several trucks and have liked them a lot. For my burb, though, I'm tossing around magnaflows just to switch it up.

we had manifolds, single 3 inch pipe, no cat, into a flow 40, reg. original not super, and dual 2.5 tailpipes with like a 4 inch tip about 14 inches long or so, on a stock 305 in dad's 84, and now have a mild 350, long tubes, duals 2.5's all the way back, gutted cats, and cherry bomb extremes, with the same tailpipes and tips, sounds just the same as with the flow 40.

I have 40 series Flowmasters right now, love the tone and the fact that they quiet down at highway speed. I will be replacing them with better headers and some Borlas in the new year. My Jegs brand cheapies have rusted right through the hi-temp exhaust paint and look like complete **** now. I have always wanted to try Borla, so I will give them a go when the money is there...

I had a flowmaster 40 single 3" in-dual 2" out bolted behind the cat on my '89 K-1500 and dumped the dual 2" pipes out the pass side on front of the rear tire angling up with stainless steel tips. I used to love rattling peoples windows in the right lane putting the hammer down, lol.....

I've always used Flowmasters on everything with the exception of the SS....I went with Magnaflow on that, and it sounded great....

Magnaflow is the one I went with on the poll since it can be a decent sounding muffler but is still quiet enough to drive with. I was a bit disappointed that the poll didn't have Hooker aerochamber as an option. A friend of mine has a pair of aerochambers on his Monte Carlo and they are the best sounding mid-range to loud muffler in my opinion. You get a nice rumble at idle and they bark when you mash the pedal.

I used to run 28" blue streak glass packs on everything , loved the sound , but have not found any in years , so now it's flowmaster 40's for me 2.5 inch pipe for the smallblocks and 3 inch pipe for the bigblocks
