Hey guys! When I built my new motor I forgot to bolt the bracket on for the factory cruise control. Id really like to use it but in order to bolt it back on I have to unbolt the two back driver side intake bolts. The bolts are surrounding the water jackets. Do you think I will be ok to unbolt them? Or am I running the risk of creating a leak. What Do you guys think?

I’ve done it a couple of times to fix brackets and it never seemed to cause any issues.

At this point the intake and gaskets are probably glued on there pretty well. As long as the rest of the bolts are still in and tight you should be fine. Just make sure you do it with the engine cool.

Blow out the holes, and use teflon tape or paste to seal. Just did that, no worries
