hi all, Im in the middle of swapping my 700r4 for a th350. But now my mount doesnt want to line up. as you can see in the first picture the crossmember is already up against the cab mount and the mount is still an inch and a half or so short of the crossmember (see second pic even tho it will probably confuse you more) any ideas on what to do??? custom build one?? buy a cheap one off ebay that "might" work?? Tell me what you think!!

Thanks!!

You need one that bolts just inside the frame rails like this.

If it were me, I'd go with the style that uses the 2 bolts for the mount over the single stud like this. They hold up a lot better also easier to take in and out.

Ether one may still require drilling a couple extra holes. Both are supposed to give more clearance for dual exhaust the first more so than the later.

Where did you get the Th350?;Making sure it's a squarebody 350,not a car th350. Different length by about 3 inches. I swapped in my Th350 10 years ago so memory may not be perfect. But it was no big deal. As I remember,I moved the crossmember and redrilled the frame. I did not have to buy a crossmember.also didn't have to do any fabrication that I can remember. So if any was done it was simple and minor or I'd remember it..

You know 10 years is too long to trust my memory,I am starting to think I added a tab to the crossmember about 4x6 from the mount location to the crossmember bolt hole.
