throttle cable from carb to pedal broke

ok, so i went to pull away in my 86 scottsdale, and the cable from the throttle to the pedal broke, i was just curious as to how to replace it since ive never done it before, any help asap will be appreciated

I forget down at the pedal but the upper end just clips on with a clip or if somebody rigged it up it bolts on with a small bolt and nut,we've done that before most just clip though.

Then at the bracket on the intake it has sides that push in to allow it to slide back and out of the bracket.

ok sweet, this one is just my toy truck and i gotta fix it before this weekend lol, ive never seen the cable actually snap before, but there is a first time for everything
