That **** is awesome! I wonder what chrome rally wheels would look like.

I'd imagine they'd look great. Its a great process for bumpers, brackets, wheels, engine accessories etc. but not a whole damn vehicle. :yucky:

I'd love to do wheels with it, tons of wheels we've had or liked just wished they were chrome.

I like what it did to the upper fairing on that Hyabusa. I want to buy a dirtbike now just so I could paint the plastics in chrome.

Well, this ad answered some questions, though. In the ad it states "...entirely chrome plated sheet metal,..." so we know it was NOT painted but rather actually chrome plated!!! :puke:

Yeah, even without the description, the pictures show it was actually plated. Look at the tailgate pictures (open). You can see where the chromed quarter panel assembly was tack welded to the floor pan. It bolts on about everywhere else.

I didn't know Bob McDorman had that. He has (or had) lots of cool stuff (yes, I still like the chrome Blazer), but has been selling everything off. Little tidbit, my S10 was sold new at his Chevy dealership.

Not sure why. Some people are saying he is selling everything and basically quitting, but others say he just wants to start fresh with a new collection.

Besides Corvettes, he has had things like Spirit Of America editions, older large trucks, cars that were never titled or driven, etc.

I'd love to have enough $$$ to have a nice collection of vehicles. That'd be just way too cool!
