I have what looks like an original gm 73-79 fender for sale and every body seem to be asking for gm stamp. There must be a believe that original also has a stamp

I'm thinking maybe GM replacement fenders had the stamp. My 85 has factory fenders without the stamps also.

I've noticed that factory doors have seam sealer along the door skin lap to the inner door, and the aftermarket don't. I've got 9 doors here and that seems to hold true.

Fenders that were born on a truck will not have the stamp, only gm replacement fenders will have it.
