Anybody here replace the rear tail pan? I seen a write up on a site and I can;t find it now. I nned to do this to my Burb this winter. Here is a link for the parts on LMC. I am wondering if I need just the tail pan support, or the support and the tail pan. I am talking about image #14 & #16.

Of course I will be shopping around for a better priced one. When I was shopping around for a SB burb 2 years ago, I looked at one locally and the guy had the part he bought along with the truck for sale, so I will put a CL ad up also, when I am ready to buy, in case somebody happens to have one laying around they want to unload. :)

Anybody here got info on this subject? :sad72:

Nope, no info here. I'm dreading the day mine needs to be replaced... it's still pretty solid these days though, just getting crusty looking. It looked like new when I got the truck though.

You spray some of that rust converter **** on it to slow it down, it works real good.

I am looking at some of the **** I coated with that stuff 6 months after I put it on and it is still jet black. :waytogo:
