Same thing happened to me a few years ago in front of my parents house. They broke the drivers side wing window pin. I found a few at the scrap yard. Sanded, primed and painted. Looks good! I have to see if i have the old one around. THey didnt break the window part.

As much as I love the wing windows on these trucks, they are the go to spot for breaking into. Iv'e locked myself out a few times, I know. I used to keep a piece of tie wire tied to the body somewhere or on the frame somewhere so I could fish it through the weather strip and trip the wing lock open if I locekd myself out. Once it is open, you can reach in and pull the door handle open.

My wing window locks closed. You cant get it to open unless you pus a little button.

i have wing window tools in a lock out kit, can get a wing open in nothing flat, years ago some jack ass took a screwdriver to the door lock on my olds 442, stole a 50 dollar radio and did a few hundred in damage to the door
