I am converting a 1987 C30 2 wheel drive low rider to 4 wheel drive. WOW I had no idea they are so different. I built a custom cross member to bolt the motor mounts to and strengthen the frame. It was to difficult to get the original in with out pulling the engine. The brakes system on the truck i took apart states to use silicone brake fluid only. The master I am using is from the 2 wheel drive and has dot 3 in it. My question is are the two fluids compatible? How do I go about this conversion if they are not?

I also have all the suspension and dually bed available for sale how do I go about posting that? Is there a special section for parts for sale? I am new to this forum.

Both trucks would have used DOT 3 originally. I'm not sure if the two fluids are compatible, but I think if you bleed the system until fresh fluid is coming from all four bleeders, you'll be fine.

And yep, there's a classifieds section here.
