I live in the Northern Virginia area near Washington, DC. I started tackling some rust under the two-tone trim, but now I'm looking for a shop to take it over the finish line and tackle other issues like taco hood and a poor bed panel repair.

Does anyone have experience with any of the shops below? Are there other shops in the area I should check out? Many thanks for recommendations!

Thanks for asking. None yet. I will likely visit all three before deciding, but it will be a while before I can go.

I always use the washroom, if they can’t keep that clean they likely won’t have the mentality to complete the work correctly.

DO NOT....I REPEAT - DO NOT TAKE your vehicle to ROB'S CUSTOM RESTORATION... my vehicle was transported to him in February - it was painted 2 years ago out of state. His scope of work was to strip the paint to bare metal and build back up with fresh primer and paint . He promised 60 days. It's important to note, there was no trim on the vehicle when I had it delivered - only doors and body bolted on in a new state of paint. No work was being done to the vehicle until he knew I was coming in that day, and literally he'd have a guy hand sanding a small spot to keep me from being frustrated. He didn't ask for a deposit, but I offered a nice large 1/3 of the quoted price up front the same day the car was delivered in cash. I also recently found out from a shop owner in Manassas that his brother's vehicle has been there for over a year. I finally took my vehicle a couple weeks ago and coincidentally the shop that has it now has a technician there that use to work for Rob's when my car arrived - he stated he chatted with a former colleague there and they informed him that "when the owner [speaking about me] is headed to the shop, he puts someone on it". There's 100s of cars inside and out. This was the last straw for me; I went and removed all my parts two months ago and had planned to take the vehicle the following day (per Rob's request since he wanted to be there before any trucks arrives), his long time technician told me that all the customers have been picking up there cars for the very same reason. Cars been in his possession for years with no progress. The following day, when I was sending the tow truck, they had sprayed primer on the car. SPARE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND DELAY
