I never gave it an intense gander just while it sat on the trailer.

Fun anyways, id like to still know what heads and crank its got.

Maybe someone already changed out those heads. If I remember right, 75 was the 1st year for unleaded gas, and a lot of them didn't have hardened seats or rotator valves yet. They didn't last too long.

You never know what you will find.
My sons 55 Chevy had its original 265 V-8 in it when we bought it.
But it was wearing a set of 1958 Corvette Fuel Injection heads on it.
Those should fetch us a pretty penny when we clean them off and put them up for sale.

I will, because if its not totally wrecked inside, cylinder walls dont look nasty and pitted badly, i might save it, rebuild it into something one day.

If it is a truck block it may be a 4 bolt main block, but it is not gonna have a small journal 327 crank in it. It most certainly will be a large journal of some kind(327,350, whatever).Sorry we didn't connect, Vince. My Bride's phone went wacky and quit. Those brackets are long pump so they are not what I need, but don't toss em somebody needs them!!!!!

I still wish I had a 327 crank though...to put in a 267 block. need a single plane intake however. maybe a tunnel ram? That would be cool.

I have a guy near me that buys and sells , parts and or fixes up old chevy trucks . I have seen at least one truck if not more go through his yard with one of those smaller displacement v8s. The 28? Whatever or the 327.

He is the kind of guy that everything is for sale almost anyway you want.

That thing has value. Your just a tad to far for me to go get it from you but it has value. The fan is worth something at least. The manifolds are as well. Lots of good parts @AuroraGirl needs that PS pump.
