You will almost never use a flywheel wrench once you figure out that you can put a wrench on a converter bolt and pull the engine over with it. There's 3 so you can always get to one. I wore out my first flywheel turning tool,before I figured this out.
In my case 6, But I'd still rather not crawl under it if I can help it.

Yea me either,personally I'd screw the stop in finger tight run it clockwise tell it stops,loosen the stop and turn it clockwise 10 more degrees. Screw the stop back in manhandle it backwards 6 degrees until it hits the stop make my first mark,then turn it clockwise until it hits again make my second mark. By going past TDC a little it'll rotate a few degrees counterclockwise easy.
