If it would follow the goofy body line it would detract from what they were trying to mimic. But then again the wheel openings are square that should account for something lol
True, this may be the happy medium for getting it to look good. I like it. Cool concept.

I like the newest generation of gm trucks a lot but that looks like garbage to me. The center white is way too narrow and doesn’t match up with the body lines at all.

^ +1 on what he says! I showed this to my 18 year old son and he says " No.No. Just No! It doesn't look good at all! It's NOT a squarebody!":laughing1::laughing1:

Think that's the first set of white spoke aluminum rims I've ever seen.

Two things:

The old Jackman wagon wheels were also sold as an aluminum version.

Those wheels on the truck are steel. They are just the base model wheels painted white. Rather than silver or chrome.

What are you talking about? Those big diameter rims and tires with no sidewall just mean more gription off road. Oh heck, I can't even fake that...lol... My stock height two wheel drive trucks are better suited for off road than these new fangled lifted street princesses that plague our roads nowadays.

That's why they invented the term "mall crawler".

"Squint your eyes and look at anything, the details rise to the surface" my art teacher in high school would say as the class was on campus looking at trees whilst he smoked weed. That is the only thing I learned in his class that I use daily. The square fenders and stripe make me like the look. Would I buy one? Hell no.

1 its better than the truck looks without it.
2 it doesnt do a squarebody justice
3 the decal is to small and should be taller
4 it looks better that this

Now that’s hideous it might just be the wheels the center panel is either to big or to small to hide those things goofy bulges

Its just all wrong, The white shouldn't wrap around under the grill, touch the headlight trim. Red I dont like the color anyway so it would never be right but, the bottom is to short and the wheels are to bland.

I think the stripe would look appropriate if it was the height of the taillight. Not above or below.

That's hard to look at but I'm sure the owner loves it and don't give a damn what I think.

I thought the proportions of the original truck looked about right. It certainly looks better than that red monstrosity! Just my humble opinion of course.
