Replacement Hood

There are still made in the USA body panels available. ..you just have to dig deeper into your budget. You do get what you pay for. I searched all over my area (Az)....and all of my replacement panels were oem from other Squares. I would rather have to do some minor bodywork then buy a Chinese fender that never fits correctly. The hoods especially need to line up to the fenders, since everyone sees the hood primarily.

I've always read, heard, and seen that AMD is one of the more reputable companies when it comes to repop items. I would imagine that the doors, hoods, and doors for the squarebody trucks should be a no brainer for any company that has the original stamping specs.

Wish you were closer. I've got a factory hood just sitting in the barn that I'd sell for cheap. Just surface rust on it.

Oh yeah....East coast. ......rust is everywhere. Hell here in Az, we have to create rust. I just finished building a bench seat from an 85 squarebody tailgate and some other truck parts. I had to spray hydrogen pyroxide and salt to get the bare metal pieces to rust. If I waited for rain, it would take a few years.....lol
