Not a quick project but it’s been keeping me busy. Put a new roof on the house and replaced most of the fascia boards. My son came out for a week and we hoped to get it done in that time, but ended up taking 10 days to get it sealed back up. Put on 60 bundles of shingles. I’m getting too old for that ****!

Still have some trim work to finish as well as installing new gutters.
Slow but sure. Think of all the damn money you saved. Blows my mind what these guys get paid to do a roof around here.

You've got some brickwork to do on that chimbly!
Yeah, that's my next project. Didn't realize how bad it was until we got up on the roof and started working.

Especially since the dam shingle loader we were going to rent broke, so we had to hump all of the shingles up by hand.

Plus 4 rolls of ice barrier, 2 rolls of underlayment, and 2 bundles of ridge cap shingles. No wonder it's taken me a week to recover:eek:

Makes me wonder if I really want to build a garage next spring.

Better to build it now before you get any older.
